The fitness training program that you designed and implemented for our team this past hockey season was truly unique.

In today’s sporting world there are many options for training however, there are few trainers that dedicate themselves to being the best that they can be and Jeff you are truly one of the few.

You instilled discipline, hard work and improved the physical fitness of each and every player you worked with this year.

Your creativity in the design of our program and the commitment you showed both in the gym and by attending many of our games truly inspired our team.

Boston or Bust!

BOSTON MARATHON RESULTS 2011:

Carol Barber: once again conquered the Boston Marathon, finishing in 4 hours, 19 minutes. Carol finished in the top half of the Women’s 60-64 age group, once again showing her resilience and competitive spirit.

Alicia Mathews-Kent: after 7 years of determination, finally completed her first Boston Marathon, in 3 hours 48 minutes. A highly respectable result in the Women’s 25-29 age group against an international field.

A special congratulations from the Coach to these exceptionally talented TOTTers!

Youth Runners in Top Ten!

On Tuesday, April 19th, the following Team Over The Top Toronto High Park Youth Clinic runners placed in the following positions in the Toronto Catholic Elementary School West Regional cross country race.

In Grades 5 and 6, with 92 runners in the 2km race:

1st: Shane Younghusband

2nd: Kyle Younghusband (Shane’s identical twin)

5th: Myles Emerson

In Grades 7 and 8, with 86 runners in the 3km race:

5th: Noah Emerson

All four qualify for the mid-Toronto regionals on April 28th. Congratulations lads, on a race well run!
